With over 30 members, the GLMV 3 x 2 is one of the largest and most active networking groups within the GLMV Chamber.  We trust that you will find vital relationships and contacts within our Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, and Vernon Hills’ business community.  In order to do so, we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines before committing to becoming a GLMV 3 x 2 Networking member.

Our Mission: 

The 3x2 networking group strives to help each member grow their business by providing qualified referrals to its members. Mutual respect and trust are some of our key values.

Code of Ethics:

1. All members to be treated with respect, integrity and honesty.
2. Goods and services always delivered at prices quoted.
3. Follow up and appreciation is important for referrals. Be courteous and always follow up with the person who referred you the business along with the person you were referred to.

Membership Requirements:

4. Participants must be a current member of the GLMV Chamber of Commerce.
5. Only two representatives are allowed for each business category.
6. You are allowed to visit as a guest, a maximum of 2 meetings, before you must decide if you want to join the 3 x 2 Networking Group.
7. You must be approved by the 3 x 2 Membership Committee.
8. A minimum of 50% attendance is required throughout the year.  We currently meet the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.
9. Membership dues are $100 if paid annually or $30.00 per quarter.  Payment is required in order to attend networking events and meetings.

Member Attendance Policy:

• The 3x2 Secretary will record attendance at each meeting.
• Each quarter the Membership Committee will review the attendance records.
• Any member that hasn’t attended 50% of the meetings will be on probation for the next quarter. They will be contacted by phone and informed of the probation and the importance of participation in our group.
• If a member fails to meet the 50% requirement in the following quarter, they may be asked to leave the group based on the Membership Committee’s findings.
• Some exceptions may be allowed for special circumstances as determined by the Membership Committee.

The GLMV 3x2 Networking meetings are an organized forum for discussing how to bring in more business.  Meetings begin promptly at 7:30 am and conclude at 9:00 am sharp.  Each meeting allows 1 member the opportunity to present their business and 1 member to speak about an educational topic.  At the end of each meeting we ensure that groups of 4-5 people get together before the next meeting to learn more about each other and their business in a 1-on-1 setting.
